Vinícius is a member of the Brazilian Association of Translators and Interpreters (Abrates) and has translated scientific publications for some of Colombia’s most prestigious universities including Universidad de Los Andes, La Sabana, Universidad Nacional, and Universidad de Medellín.
He has worked as a language instructor at Universidad Eafit and Instituto de Língua Portuguesa. He completed his studies in the field of translation and Portuguese teaching for foreigners in various international institutions including Universidade do Livro (Brazil) and Universidad Pontifícia Bolivariana (Colombia).
She is graduated in English and Portuguese Languages, with a minor in Translation Studies, from Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil). Additionally, she has experience as a translator, copywriter, copy editor, and professional voice-over. As a copywriter, she has worked for major Brazilian websites, such as UOL and MegaCurioso.
As a copy editor of texts and educational materials, she had the opportunity to work at Editora Fundamento Educacional and Editora Positivo, one of the largest educational groups in Brazil. For more than five years, she has been dedicated to the translation of literary, technical, corporate, and academic texts — her portfolio includes two translations published in Brazil and several translated texts and academic articles published in many countries.
Roanita has worked as a Portuguese language copy editor since 2000, specializing in academic publications. In 2007, she began to work as a translator, with projects ranging from music lyrics to complete academic articles. During this time, she also worked as a Portuguese and Spanish language teacher. Currently, she is fully dedicated to editorial work.
Roanita graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (Brazil) with a degree in Portuguese and Spanish Languages and a specialization in Development of Didactic Materials. She also has a Master’s degree in Editorial Design from the Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona (Spain).
